About Arian
UK Support.

Arian UK Support is a nationwide screening and sample collection service.

Over 38 years
of experience.

As a construction worker for 38 years, I have witnessed a significant rise in the number of employees both in and travelling to the workplace under the influence of drugs and alcohol.

These employees may be working at height, driving plant or operating sophisticated machinery. Carrying out these tasks under the influence of drink or drugs poses a serious risk to others on site and members of the public.

On-site workplace screening and testing

Arian Support UK are able to visit the workplace to carry out the screening and testing requirements for your business. This includes first line tests, for drugs and alcohol and chain of custody laboratory screening for any employee who gives a non-negative test result.

Arian UK support are available to operate across the whole of the UK.

We can provide for-cause, random, pre-employment and after near miss incidents. We can also pre book scheduled testing on your behalf.

Free surface testing and air testing in vehicles owned by your business can be provided upon request.

Arian UK Support operates across the UK. We are fully trained in the collection of samples for first line screening and second line Chain of Custody. Our procedures and protocols for collection are as recommended by the UK Laboratory Guidelines for Legally Defensible Workplace Drug Testing. Our laboratory is UKAS accredited for GCMS testing.

Results are usually provided within 72 hours of the sample being received at the laboratory.

A drug and alcohol policy is essential to manage any employees who appear to be under the influence of these substances at work. We recommend a zero-tolerance policy. We can review and offer advice on your drugs and alcohol policy to ensure your testing is legally defensible. We will then work with you to deliver the testing at whatever time suits your business and will travel to your location.

Guidance on Alcohol and Drugs Policies are available from ACAS and the HSE.
